Stream millions of songs and thousands of playlists. Enjoy your favorite music ad-free with unlimited access on any device.
Amazon Music is the official client of Amazon's streaming music service for Windows, which allows you to listen to millions of songs as long as you have a Prime account. And if you have also taken up an Unlimited subscription, you can access more than seventy million songs, including the vast majority of new releases.
In order to use Amazon Music you will need to sign in with your Amazon user account. Once you do so, you can start listening to all the music you like directly from your desktop. You can to listen to individual songs, play entire albums or, if you prefer, enjoy customized stations and playlists. Best of all, you can download any song to your hard drive to listen to it later without the need for an Internet connection.
Within the configuration options of Amazon Music you will find some quite interesting ones. First you can select the quality at which you want to listen and download music, which by default is at maximum, but you can reduce it if you have a bad Internet connection. You can also make use of the normalization function, which will make all songs play at the same volume, avoiding some songs sounding much louder than others and constantly having to manually raise and lower the volume.
Amazon Music is an essential program for regular users of this service, in the same way that Spotify is for any user who pays the monthly fee. This desktop client also has a simple and elegant interface and consumes very few resources.
