Hot Potatoes is an application to develop up to six different types of educational exercises for your website.

The tools included in the program are the following: JQuiz, JCloze, JMatch, JMix, JCross, and The Masher.

JCloze allows you to create a list of sentences where the user must guess the missing word. Do not forget to provide hints to help the user solve the exercise. Using JQuiz, it is possible to create multi-answer questionnaires.

With JMatch, you can generate drag-and-drop exercises in which the user must match one word in a list to another. On the other hand, JCross allows you to make crossword puzzles with the words you enter.

JMix is a tool to indicate a sentence for the student to order it word by word, although it also offers the option of disordering the letters or syllables of a term.

The last one, The Masher, allows you to compile the rest of the exercises and generate an entire HTML document with all of them.

You do not need to upload them on a server afterward, as they can be executed in any browser from the hard disk.
